Example customizing Excerpts+ with CSS

Her’s a nice three cell slider, with image above, that has been polished up with a bit of custom CSS, giving a nice background, rounded corners, inset images, some font styling and a hover background.

The CSS for this is:
body.custom div#leaf-79 {

background:#272727 url(/bg-charcoal.jpg) ;

-moz-border-radius:5px;

border-radius:5px;

-webkit-border-radius:5px;
}

body.custom div#leaf-79 p {
color:#ddd;
}

body.custom div#leaf-79 p a {
color:#abc;
}

body.custom div#leaf-79 .entry-title a {
color:#fff;
}

body.custom div#leaf-79 .leaf-top {
color:#ddd;
font-family:sans-serif;
font-weight:bold;}

body.custom div#leaf-79 img {
border:#000 solid thin;
padding:5px;background:#272727;
-moz-border-radius:5px;
border-radius:5px;
-webkit-border-radius:5px;
border-bottom:#333 solid thin;
border-right:#333 solid thin;}body.custom div#leaf-79 div.excerpt-big-image {height:120px!important}
body.custom div#leaf-79 div.excerpts-plus-excerpt:hover {background:#222;}

All pretty straight forward. The one thing to note is the .excerpt-big-image is forced to override to enable the borders to display fully.
